Brenda Jackson loves color and movement in her art. After being diagnosed with Parkinsonís Disease in 2008 Brenda decided that she either had to try her hand at this art thing or perhaps be unable to give it a fair try. She started out with a drawing course with Tracy Kobus and never looked back.
In 2012, Pam Young and Valerie Taylor offered some of her work in South Hollow Gallery. They also gave her head swelling amounts of encouragement and invited her to co-participate in Local Colors with Arlene McLeod in the summer of 2012. Brenda has since branched out to art cards and who knows where this new world of art will take her.
