Arlene McLeod
From hours on the beach examining tiny shells or watching the endless ever-changing surf, to walking in the woods surrounded by all manifestations of her favourite colour (green), Arlene McLeod finds endless sources of inspiration in the Comox Valley.
Working in the abstract/non-representational style, Arlene’s paintings seem to capture the energy fields around her. Arlene rarely knows what she is going to do when she picks up a brush; this uncertainty keeps her engaged and enthusiastic. As Arlene says, “I just hold the brush”.
